Robb Johnson & the Irregulars

Robb Johnson is widely regarded as one of the leading songwriters in the UK, with his songs being performed by artists such as Barb Jungr and Roy Bailey, his last album “All That Way for This” received widespread critical acclaim, as well as constantly performing solo, Robb has recently appeared on the BBC 4 Folk Britannia series and Andy Kershaw’s Radio 3 programme.

This year sees Robb appearing with The Irregulars which include Roger Watson on melodeon, John Forrester bass, & harmonies and Charlie Waygood on drums promoting the new album” Love & Death & Politics”, which is due out in October.

Acoustic Guitar Heaven

Showcasing the talents of four highly rated guitarists, Acoustic Guitar Heaven will be touring the UK in Autumn 2008 & Spring 2009 and will feature Australian guitarist Roland Chadwick who is promoting his latest album “ Freedom Dreamer”, Grammy award winner Amrit Sond, the finger picking guitar style of Gill Holdsworth and Brighton based guitarist Lee Westwood who has just released an album with his ensemble called “ Nymph Suite & other stories”.

Dallas Meteors

The Dallas Meteors owe their name to their beautifully soulful and powerful lead singer Dallas Ayres. She really was named after the TV series!
Their music is a collection of deep funky grooves from the archives of rare US funk spiced with their own deep funk and soul compositions. The band use valve amps and classic instruments to produce a vintage dance floor set full of great vocals, ringing funky wah guitar, hook-laden hypnotic bass, and subtly smokin' drums, perfect band for clubs and parties.
